Surgery! orthopedics for two week and soft tissue for two weeks after that. So I'll likely be disappearing for about a month, but I have a few easier blocks after that so I will be back!

EDIT 11/21 - I survived orthopedics, well almost, I'm still on call for another hour but hoping this last hour is as uneventful as the day has been. Got my ass royally chewed by an owner yesterday for something that didn't even happen at the school. and yet it was my fault. People, I beg you, I know it can be frustrating to go to a vet/doctor, especially when you go to a teaching hospital. BUT, YOU ARE ALMOST GUARANTEED NEVER TO SEE THE SAME PERSON, especially if your visits are more than a week or two apart! And please don't vent your spleen on the poor students, we have even less say than you do on what happens. *sigh* I just wish some people would figure that out.
